He also botched a Call. It was just as bad as NFL Referee ED Hochuli’s Call.
You all need to get on Jeff Triplette’s case NOW.
I’ve heard about that as well, but haven’t seen it it. If you can find the clip anywhere online, please post it.
I doubt it will get nearly as much press as Ed’s, because it directly affect the outcome of the game at such a critical point. We’ll see, though.
Refs just cost the Bears the game against Tampa Bay. Adawale Ogunleye was being PUNCHED, and Charles Tillman defended his fellow teammate. NOTHING was called on Chicago.
I mean Tampa Bay, sorry.
The referee for the game between St. Louis and Seattle is Gene Steratore.
As for the Jacksonville-Indianapolis game, it definitely is Walt Coleman.

steelers Eagles game, did not cost the steelers the game, just a really bad call which could not be reviewed by replay. Why have replay if they coannot reverse terrible calls such as was seen in the chargers game last week, and this week in the play that resulted in a safety for the eagles. A replay would have clearly reversed/changed the incorrect call which was made on the field on both occasions. It’s pathetic
The referee for the Detroit-San Francisco game was Bill Leavy.

Three very bad calls in Bears / Tampa Game. Third ultimately changed the game. Two are in second half.
One is a missed helmet to helmet hit on Orton that spun him around 180 degrees. I think if they catch that later it will result in a fine.
Second one was in overtime. Bears stop Tampa leaving them fourth and long very deep in their own territory. Personal foul was called on Tillman (33) who did nothing. He pulled a player off his team mate who was getting punched. If that was called correctly, Tampa would have had to punt from the end zone, almost a sure win for the Bears. It’s too bad that they can’t get these right. I think this will have a fine attached to it also when reviewed. While it many would say tht the Bears still could have stoped them again, this was in overtime in an 80 degree day. The tanks of both teams were empty and the defence had been on the field quite awile. The call without question effected the outcome of the game.
There was a blown fumble call in the first half as well. Just like Denver it was a fumble with a short whistle that the Bears would have recovered.
What the refs botched in this game was the fighting. Both teams were fighting right from the start. I think they needed to toss out one or two of them and get the game in control. I think that the overtime call was a product of letting the game get away from them.
Jerome Boger in Week #3 — In his game he announced a foul against one team, but pointed the other way.
Will he be docked too? How about the Fans of Football getting on his case?
The grounding call in the Pittsburgh game was irrelevant. His knee was down before he let go of the ball. If they reviewed it, it would have still been a safety.
The OT in/out of bounds call in the Giants game is indeterminate. You can’t tell from the replays.
Bears/Bucs – They should have called a foul on Tampa, but they didn’t. Then The white hat is in the pile breaking them up and Tillman comes in at that point. You know that’s getting called, why would you do it in overtime?
The first half of the NYJ/SD game was penalty-free until after the 2-minute warning, where a false start was called.
Saints vs Broncos. Saints had a 3rd and 1 at the end of the game. Saints were in field goal range and the Broncos had no time outs. A first down would have allowed the Saints to attempt game winning field goal as time ran out. Broncos lined up offsides. A player on the left side of the defensive formation was well standing well over the neutral zone before and after the ball was snapped. No call made.
From a Titans fan:
Long reception by McCarriens from Collins should have been ruled out of bounds. Kubiak had lost an earlier challenge and did not take another chance.
Backfield in motion by Texans ignored by refs. It led to a good gain. Fisher really was giving it to them on the sideline.
Late in game, the Texans punt returner came down the sideline by the Titans bench and stepped out several times. He kept going and was finally shoved out by a defender. Result: ignore the steps out of bounds and add a 15 yard penalty for hitting the returner out of bounds.
NFL refs are brutal. I don’t blame them but blame the league.
