Who is working the Browns-Colts Game in Cleveland? I am a season ticket holder in The Dawg Pound (When in the **** will they get their act together.) My seats are front row Dawg Pound and I have seen a few things in both the old and current stadium. (Remember Bottlegate?) Last Sunday, I finally had the pleasure of meeting my favorite NFL Ref; Ed Hochuli. (We both share the same hobby: Weight Lifting.) He came strolling up to the ‘Pound and took a few minutes out of his day to talk to us before the game. Nice Guy.

In the past two years, I have seen John Parry work more nationaly televised games than anyone. Why is the league so in love with him?

Jan. Thanks.

I’ve met more than my share of people there since my seats are front row Dawg Pound.

Herman Edwards with the Chiefs, Steve Mariucci a few weeks ago when he was doing a segment for NFL Network, etc. I have been fortunate.

Cool!

He remembered an email I sent him in the off-season. I told him that if I ever see him in Cleveland, I would yell at him: “GIVE ME THE SIX MANDATORY POSES AND THEN YOUR OPTIONAL ROUTINE!” (Like what you would hear at the Judging Phase of a Bodybuilding Contest before the evening show.) He emailed me back a couple of days later “I will if you will.”

Real Friendly Man.

How much did the Cardinals pay the officials to get all those penalties so they could get the touchdown? They should have turned it over on downs (twice).
The worst invention for the NFL and Officials, Instant replay and a video capture card in your computer. I can pull and zoom, it appears better then they can. I have found 468 bad calls this year by NFL officials. Maybe next year.

How bad are the officials for the OU – OSU game. The first possession of the second half OSU fumbles the ball and it should have been OUs ball. Again, officials that not to have oversight, with financial repercussions for screwing it up.

I hate when the ref’s have such an impact on a ball game. The ref’s in the OU/OSU game have made 3 bad calls so far !!! I agree that there should be fines for ref’s that make game changing calls, especially when it is sooo very obvious.

Colts – Browns. Colts actually scored a touchdown. I have a media system, and pulled the slides and used I2 to show that the nose of the ball was 2.6cm over the line. Another bad call by the officials and their lack of ability to utilize technology.

Tex November 30, 2008 at 2:41 pm

Uhmmmm for all of you are are posting negative remarks about the Officials.

I would like you to work their schedule, travel & make the calls on the field. These players are fast in the NCAA & NFL.

I noticed Umpire Bill Schuster did not work yesterday’s Bills/49ers game with Carrollo…anyone know why? He is always on Carrollo’s crew.

Hi John,

Usually thru the year the NFL officials have a swing official. This year it is Umpire Tony Michalek #115. He subs for umpires this year.

Leave it to The Browns to keep the Colts Offense out of the endzone and STILL LOSE!!!!! :(

Reply

Glen December 3, 2008 at 12:33 am

There are too many missed/bad calls on the field. My biggest complaint is when instant replay is used and they still miss the call.
