Jeff Triplette is horrible; he was standing right there when the ball was recovered by Felix Jones. There are plenty of other views on other websites where you see Jeff standing there, looking directly at Jones as he possesses the ball and is down before being stripped of the ball. Also, if he can’t count to 2 which are how many challenges G.B. used and still went under the hood, if it were up to him, he would have done anything to give the ball back to G.B. He should be fined for lousy referring, to think about it, he shouldn’t be in the NFL. Just pitiful.

I was at the game and knew that Green Bay was out of challenges, how does a veteran crew make so many mistakes:
1) Green Bay Challenge
2) Green Bay stepping out of bounds on return
3) Placing ball on Dallas 23 after reviewing punt fumble down by contact and failing to mark off the block in the back

After watching the play several times, it is hard to see IF Jones ever had control of the ball. That is not what should be in question. Wade should be able to challenge the play; he probable would have lost the challenge due to not enough evidence but should be able to challenge it non the less.

I don’t believe in that play, after watching it numerous times, that Felix Jones had complete possesion of the ball, which is what would have been necessary.

As for the challenge situation, that’s where the defensive delay of game comes from, but I don’t know exactly how it went down on the field.

Are you kidding me that was a blown call and you know it, plus GB asking for a challenge when your out of challenges 15 yard penalty.

The TV crew said that they talked with Mike Pereira and he said that the fact that the recovery by Jones couldn’t be reviewed only Romo’s fumble. I’m not sure it’s a good rule, but it does sound like Triplette got the rule right…
