I heard that Don would not be a referee earlier this year. I heard that he might be on Ed Hochuli’s crew

I´m friend of a crew member

relax Bill,
I remember Joe83 from last year. He is legit. His friend is usually in Carey’s crew but worked with Anderson tonight. That happens a lot during the preseason.

Russ August 15, 2010 at 12:20 pm

I don’t disagree with you Bill, it was really annoying last year when people randomly guessed. However, I particularly remember Joe giving us many correct assignments last year. Like I said, his friend worked with Anderson’s crew as a fill in yesterday. He is usually with Carey

I wonder if any of these officials have a Twitter or Facebook account. Or are even allowed to.

FYI, I’ve added a page for the list of 2010 crews, but I’m sure it needs work. Add comments on that page if you know of corrections:

JOE83

Your friend led you a bum steer. That’s why we all should wait until we get CREDIBLE proof before we post on who works what game. It’s not about getting it first, it’s about getting it right.

Hey John 2 and Bill, I’m made a mistake because MY FRIEND was in San Diego to complete the crew of Walt Anderson and I think that He will be working with his crew. If you don’t know it is the start of the season and some officials are adjusting his agendas and take some permissions. That’s why not always the crews works with the same officials. It also happen in regular season (for some injuries or other kind of commitments, birthdays and anniversaries). Mikey Carey crew was off.

JOE83 –

You’ve been on the mark all of last year.

However, you forgot to tell us he was filling in on Anderson’s crew. That’s what led to the assumption that it was Carey’s crew working the game. I’m not accusing you of mis-information, but incomplete information.

I suggested to wait until we get proof on the ‘net or Twitter or whatever because others are giving us assignments without a link to display its validity so mickey has to change every game possible. I’m just helping to 1. maintain the credibility and integrity of the site and 2. save mickey some work load.

No intention to upset to you. I’m sorry if I did.

Any word on why Don Carey was demoted? I thought he did a good job last year.

just when officiating was bad enough and taking over games, the NFL makes it even worst.
Those referees need to have stats on who’s crew will call the most HOLDING penalties and cause momentum break down to alter outcomes of games. The gambling world NEED to take this into consideration when handicapping games. Flag happy officials take over games and often affect the over/under and at worst can prevent a team from winning.
On any given Sunday I can watch 5 to 10 games and BELIEVE you me, judging by what I’ve seen this pre-season, Football will now be UNENJOYABLE.
Thank you NFL.
