I agree Chris, but what I want someone to tell me is—what was the penalty they called immediately AFTER the play on the Vikings –and I quote Green —-”after the play, delay of game” —-no one was stopping the other guy from getting up for the next play so how could it have been delay of game? I’m confused.

by the way —-Hochuli is in Oakland sunday on the 31st.

The referees that are eligible to officiate the Monday night game between Houston and Indy are:

Walt Anderson
Clete Blakeman
Tony Corrente
Pete Morelli
Gene Steratore

Reply

Shane Spencer October 26, 2010 at 7:10 pm

Actually, Pete Morelli had already officiated two Monday night games, so he isn’t likely to officiate that game.

Reply

Jason October 27, 2010 at 10:48 am

Clete Blakeman has Jaguars Cowboys according to the Dallas Morning News blog.

Reply

mickey October 27, 2010 at 2:31 pm

Clete is on there now, thanks.

According to my chart, this leaves Pete Morelli with the Sunday Night Game.

Here’s why
BUF @ KC – Worked Buffalo last week so that’s out.
GB @ NYJ – Worked the Jets 3 weeks ago so that’s out.
CAR @ STL – Worked St. Louis 4 weeks ago so that’s out.
MIN @ NE – Worked Minnesota 3 weeks ago so that’s out.
HOU @ IND – Already worked 2 MNF games so that’s out.
BYE – Already 2 byes so that’s out.

And the only one left.

Steelers @ Saints

Ryan October 27, 2010 at 8:21 pm

Cheffers is eligible since he has not officiated either team yet in regular season.

Reply

John 2 October 27, 2010 at 9:51 pm

He is but as I drew it out Morelli is only eligible to work the SNF game.

Reply

Ryan October 28, 2010 at 1:29 pm

Got it. My bad.

Reply

John 2 October 27, 2010 at 5:31 pm

And, Parry will either work GB @ NYJ or be off.

Here’s why
BUF @ KC – Worked Buffalo Week 3
CAR @ STL – Worked Carolina Week 4
MIN @ NE – Worked New England Week 3
PIT @ NO – Morelli has it by process of elimination and Parry worked SNF 2 weeks ago and worked New Orleans Week 4 and Pittsburgh Week 2
HOU @ IND – Worked MNF last week and Indy 2 weeks ago.

Dan October 27, 2010 at 9:53 pm

Morelli might be off though

Reply

John 2 October 28, 2010 at 8:26 am

He’s already been off twice.

The remaining referees this week are Carl Cheffers, Gene Steratore, Jeff Triplette, John Parry, Pete Morelli and Tony Corrente. Here are my predictions:

CAR @ STL – Jeff Triplette
PIT @ NO – Pete Morelli
HOU @ IND – Tony Corrente
OFF – Gene Steratore, John Parry

My predictions:

CAR @ STL – Carl Cheffers
PIT @ NO – Pete Morelli
HOU @ IND – Gene Steratore
OFF- Parry, Corrente, Coleman, Carey

BTFS Moderator has Triplette doing GB/NYJ game.

Reply

Mark October 29, 2010 at 1:02 am

Some people have said that Morelli is doing the Saints game and Triplette is doing Jets/Packers. I don’t know if that’s true or not.

But IF that’s true, then John Parry is OFF this week. He did the Colts Week 6 and Panthers Week 4. That takes care of the two remaining games and leaves Parry as one of the crews that is off this week.

Cheffers is not eligible for Colts/Texans because he had Texans Week 3. As a result, he would either be doing Rams/Panthers or he is off this week too.

Tony Corrente and Gene Steratore are both eligible for Rams/Panthers and Colts/Texans.

Reply

John 2 October 29, 2010 at 8:39 am

It’s now down to Corrente and Steratore for the MNF game.

Reply

Ryan October 31, 2010 at 9:32 pm

Believe Corrente has MNF. BJ Bob Waggoner (25) for Steratore’s crew was working with Walt Anderson’s crew for FJ Jimmy Buchanan (86) who was absent for an unknown reason. If this is the case then I am sure that Steratore’s crew was given off. Although it is quite possible that he could be traveling to Indianopolis tonight for MNF but highly unlikely. THOUGHTS????

I agree with you Ryan. Bob Wagonner (SJ 25) was working with Anderson’s crew and looks like Syeratore’s crew is off this week.
