Ed Hochuli will be in Chicago on Sept. 11 for the opening week-end.

NICE!! My Birds get big Ed for the Opener!

George Ashburn September 8, 2011 at 1:43 pm

Met Ed a couple of years ago before he did the Browns-Texans Game in Cleveland. Very Nice Guy.

Reply

Eric September 1, 2011 at 9:12 am

Walt Coleman will be in Houston for Colts/Texans.

Reply

harry September 1, 2011 at 9:44 am

Coleman doing Texans 2 in a row with them P4?

Reply

Eric September 1, 2011 at 10:00 am

Apparently so.

Reply

Eric September 1, 2011 at 9:59 am

Clete Blakeman will be in Green Bay for Saints/Packers on opening night.

Reply

harry September 1, 2011 at 1:52 pm

Hey how are you finding all this stuff? Not questioning your work but just curious.

Reply

Eric September 1, 2011 at 5:26 pm

I know some people.

Reply

You know some people alright – the RIGHT people.

This is true, John.

Carl Cheffers’ crew in Arizona (Panthers @ Card’s, Sept. 11)

Reply

Joe Platania September 3, 2011 at 11:50 pm

I would think that common sense would dictate that the PIT-BAL game would get one of the top crews. But, you never know….

Reply

John 2 September 7, 2011 at 7:10 am

May I suggest that either Steratore’s crew or Parry’s crew get that game if that it is to fit your criteria?

Reply

Joe Platania September 7, 2011 at 9:32 am

Too late, John 2, Mike says it’s Winter…

Reply

Len September 9, 2011 at 3:30 pm

Why would the NFL ever consider Steratore for the Pit-Bal game since he’s a Pittsburgh native, still lives there and has often made minus grade calls against Baltimore?

Reply

George Ashburn September 11, 2011 at 8:09 pm

Steratore did Steelers-Dolphins last year and The Dolphins got royally screwed.

mr. bamboosaul September 4, 2011 at 7:07 pm

do any1 hav the 411 4 the cowboys-jets game?

Reply

Mike September 4, 2011 at 10:33 pm

Looks like the worst ref Ron Winter will be in B-more to screw the Ravens again this week.

Reply

Joe Platania September 5, 2011 at 6:52 am

Winter seems to follow the Ravens around… he just did P4 in Atlanta with them last week…

Reply

Len September 9, 2011 at 3:31 pm

The NFL will dump Winter on the Ravens later in the season when he can do the most damage!

Reply

Chris September 5, 2011 at 5:42 pm

Any word on where Mike Carey will be at this weekend yet?

Per espn todd archer Al Riveron will officiate the cowboys-jets game. this will be 2 weeks in a row that Riveron will officiate a cowboys game. Riveron officiated the cowboys-dolphins game in pre-season.

Reply

jc September 6, 2011 at 9:12 pm
Gerry September 7, 2011 at 8:38 pm

If it is Riveron, this will be the first time that he officiates a Jets’ homegame

Anyone know where Leavy is this weekend?

Reply

12thMan September 7, 2011 at 12:11 am

if he’s doing the hawks/niners game my middle fingers are going to get a workout!

Reply

George Ashburn September 9, 2011 at 1:54 pm

I heard that the NFL won’t allow Leavy to go to Seattle for his own safety because of Super Bowl XL.

Reply

Rodney Ruxin September 7, 2011 at 12:13 am

Anybody know who will be at Candlestick for the Seahawks vs. 49ers game?

Reply

Biffer September 7, 2011 at 8:50 am

Steratore has St. Louis and Philly.

Reply

Joe Platania September 7, 2011 at 9:42 am

If Winter truly has PIT-BAL, a historical note, for what it’s worth:
Last time Winter had a PIT-BAL game was 2005 in BAL. The Ravens had gone three games and 34 possessions without a TD and were knocking at the door when a Kyle Boller pitchout was fumbled and recovered by PIT. Winter ruled “down by contact”, which wasn’t governed by replay back then. On the next play, Boller threw a TD pass and the Ravens went on to win…

Reply

Len September 9, 2011 at 3:33 pm

That was likely the last time they won a game he worked.

Reply

Joe Platania September 7, 2011 at 12:22 pm

My bad! It’s not going to be Winter at all here in BAL, but according to the team, it’s going to be Corrente… sorry, folks…

Reply

George Ashburn September 8, 2011 at 1:45 pm

Any word on who is doing the Browns-Bengals Game in Cleveland?

Reply

Preth September 8, 2011 at 3:35 pm

Hey Mickey -

Great to be back for another season of NFL and its officiating.

Redskins – Giants is Ron Winter.

Reply

bill September 8, 2011 at 4:57 pm

YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reply

mickey September 8, 2011 at 5:49 pm

Preth — Glad to have you back! Thanks for the Winter info.

Where is Boger going to be?

Reply

bill September 8, 2011 at 7:59 pm

He’s off this week

Reply

Shane Spencer September 9, 2011 at 4:42 pm

So that leaves us with Scott Green, Bill Leavy, Pete Morelli, John Parry and Jeff Triplette. Here are my predictions on who will officiate the remaining Week 1 games in the NFL:

CIN @ CLE – Jeff Triplette
BUF @ KC – Scott Green
SEA @ SF – John Parry
NE @ MIA – Pete Morelli
OAK @ DEN – Bill Leavy

Reply

George Ashburn September 9, 2011 at 5:48 pm

Jeff “I Fired My Flag Into Eye of a Player” Triplette.

Reply

John 2 September 11, 2011 at 7:08 am

I think Scott Green will be in Cleveland and Triplette will be in D.C. today.

Reply

Gerry September 9, 2011 at 10:17 am

This will be Winter’s first regular season game in Washington since 2005

Reply

mike September 9, 2011 at 10:57 am

looks like Parry and Triplette will be going down to the wire again this year. Why we can never find where these two before the game starts is bizarre

Reply

Preth September 9, 2011 at 11:34 am

Now now, we do normally fill out all games before Sunday… :)

Agreed though, it’s funny how some referees rarely get slotted early in the week…

Reply

Shane Spencer September 10, 2011 at 9:51 pm

Melvin September 10, 2011 at 7:54 pm

Jerome Boger’s crew in Denver per Bernie Miklacz column
saying that the judge of Bridgeton Joe Larrew is their with his crew.

Reply

John 2 September 11, 2011 at 7:15 am

Boger was said to be off so Larrew could be there with a different crew.

Reply

John 2 September 11, 2011 at 7:27 am

On this site it was said Boger was to be off. Just to clarify what I’m saying. We’ll find out Monday Night.

Reply

Preth September 11, 2011 at 12:46 pm

The claim that Boger is off was incorrect. Here’s the article link:

How come we never seem to know who is officiating the Browns Game?

Reply

Preth September 10, 2011 at 8:49 pm

The Browns are rarely assigned referees who are easily tracked by members here, like Hochuli and Coleman. Nobody here has a connection to a Browns employee who has knowledge of officiating arrangements. And they don’t have any webpages, at least to our knowledge, that provide that information.

Reply

George Ashburn September 11, 2011 at 8:11 pm

Okay, thanks.

Reply

jc September 11, 2011 at 11:48 am

Leavy is in Cleveland…

Reply

Alex September 11, 2011 at 12:05 pm

Scott Green in Buffalo/Kansas City.

Reply

Shane Spencer September 11, 2011 at 4:01 pm

Another one of my predictions was right.

Reply

G. Mack Dallas September 11, 2011 at 12:18 pm

This site is wrong more than half the time. How tough is it to get the correct crews from the league. Tony Corrente’s crew week one is WAY off. No 11 or 119.

Reply

nita September 11, 2011 at 12:37 pm

Ok Mr. Perfect, if this site is wrong more than half the time, either get off of it or tell all of us what the CORRECT answere are… How tough is that.

Reply

Jake September 11, 2011 at 3:49 pm

I mentioned to Mickey at Week 1 preseason that the Crews were wrong, but no one seems to care at that time!

Reply

Avi September 11, 2011 at 5:36 pm

Both those guys are on his crew apparently-at least today they were:Fred Bryan and Greg Wilson.

Reply

Avi September 11, 2011 at 5:37 pm

I meant that as a response to what G.Mack Dallas had posted

Reply

jc September 11, 2011 at 1:14 pm

Mickey just has not updated the crews…you can easily find these..

Reply

mickey September 11, 2011 at 1:59 pm

Correct, it’s still showing the old ones. I’ll try to update them soon.

Reply

Preth September 11, 2011 at 4:21 pm

Jeff Triplette has SEA@SF.

Reply

Preth September 11, 2011 at 4:26 pm

And I’m fairly certain that Boger is working OAK-DEN, courtesy of columnist Bernie Miklacz.

Reply

jc September 11, 2011 at 4:35 pm

Boger is in DEN per other site…Parry is OFF

Reply

Avi September 11, 2011 at 5:27 pm

What site says he’ll be in Denver? I don’t know if the Broncos website usually has that info or not.

Reply

Avi September 11, 2011 at 5:40 pm

Oh you’re probably referring to Bernie Miklacz’ column

Reply

JOHN Z September 14, 2011 at 7:42 pm
