Check the video reply idoit refs. Tripping was not even close that took a TD away and cost the Vikes the game. And defensive delay of game?! What a bogus bad call, and how ’bout no pass interference against the Steelers.

Melanie October 25, 2009 at 8:05 pm

How do we get the refs to start making fair calls in the Cardinals/Giants game? Someone email me and let me know.

Andy October 25, 2009 at 11:20 pm

Everyone of the officials that were working the VIKINGS vs STEELERS game need to be fired… the B.S. calls against the vikes clearly won the game for the steelers… So tell me JUST HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BUY A FOOTBALL GAME!!! or do the officials just not LIKE THE VIKINGS… YOU all need to be investigated for briberey.

carla bizzarro October 26, 2009 at 11:37 am

Please, someone tell America WHAT THE HELL a delay of game on D is???????? POOREST officiating I’ve seen in a game in a long long time. These refs should be held accountable. NFL you should allow more reviews!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. These refs should be FIRED. Or were you all in on a big payday???????????????????????

From the Miami Herald, speaking of the picture in this weeks sports illustrated!!

The photo clearly shows that Saints safety Darren Sharper fumbled before he crossed the goal line in the third quarter of the Saints’ 46-34 victory over Miami.

The play was ruled a touchdown in the third quarter of the game, cutting Miami’s advantage from 24-10 to 24-17. Dolphins coach Tony Sparano threw a challenge flag. And he lost the challenge and a time out.

What’s the point?

The point is this photo proves Sharper did not score. It further means the Dolphins should have gotten the ball at the 20 yard line after a touchback while still nursing a 24-10 lead.

Angry FIN FAN October 29, 2009 at 4:10 pm

Your a bunch of ASSSSSSSSHHHHHHOOOOOLLLLLLLEEEEESSSSS!!!!!!!

Angry FIN FAN October 29, 2009 at 4:13 pm

By the way, what is LJ #107’s name? I want to know since you don’t have his name listed on this site having worked the game. But there it is in color in SI!!!! What’s is this piece of garbages name??? You better make it up to the Fins in the Meadowlands this weekend. Scumbage jerkoff Reffs!!!!! Robbed Miami of a win here!! Even I saw the ball was fumbled on the review!! ASSHOLES!!

Angry FIN FAN October 29, 2009 at 4:18 pm

Incriminating SI photo draws a no comment from Tony Sparano

by Edgar Thompson
New Orleans safety Darren Sharper has been caught red-handed, or make that empty handed.

Only it happened a few days too late.

A photo in this week’s Sports Illustrated clearly shows Sharper did fumble his interception return before he reached the end zone, in one of the game-turning plays of the Saints’ 46-34 come-from-behind win.

Making matters worse, line judge Ron Marinucci (No. 107) is staring directly at the play.

Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said he had seen the photo, but only offered a “no comment.”

Officials reviewed whether Sharper had crossed the goal line prior to the fumble and decided he had, giving him a 42-yard touchdown and cutting Miami’s lead to 24-17.

If the call had been correct, it would have been a touchback. The Dolphins would have gotten back the ball at their 20 with a 24-10 lead.

NFL spokesman Corry Rush said teams routinely send plays in for review, but the league rarely would take action against officials in season.

“The officials are graded each week just like players are graded and their overall performance is evaluated at the end of the year,” Rush said in an e-mail.

Cory Rush and Ron Marinucci, your both MAJOR LEAGUE ASSHOLES!!!!

Angry Fin Fan,

get a grip.

refs mess up a lot. it does suck when your team is on the bad end of calls (as my college’s football team has been the past 2 games) but life goes on. Dolphins won’t make playoffs anyhow, so why don’t you act like a dignified person and control yourself

andyc222299 November 1, 2009 at 1:35 am

As it is now just under twelve hours till game time arond the NFL. I have just one question??? HOW MUCH YOU S.O.Bs going to get paid this week to call the games in the favor of the people that have PAID you OFF? All The Refs From The Most Senior To The Newest Rookie Needs To Be Fired. Maybe we can get it right the next time… YOU CROOCKED BASTARDS….

deancamaro November 2, 2009 at 10:27 am

I have been a Club Level PSL owner from day one with the Ravens. I am a huge Ravens fan. This week against the Denver Broncos ref #32 should be fired. He made three horrible calls. One was against Derrick Mason. He was standing with in 10 feet of the holding call that should have been called on Denver. I am sick of the favoritism the refs seem to give the opposing team who ever the ravens play. I have never heard our stadium so loud with boo’s. I watched the game the other week when the patriots ran the score up to 59 to 0.
One play Brady got a hand slide across the side of his helment and as soon as that happened he turned and looked at the ref and the ref thru a flag. Put a skirt on him. If that would have happened that to Joe Flacco or some other QB’s in the League there would have not be a flag.. I am sick of these refs. It sure looks like they are getting some kind of pay off. It seems to me there are a hand full of teams that have the ref’s in there back pocket. Everybody I talked to at the Ravens vs. Bronco game agreed totally.

Somebody needs to take a hard look at some of these ref’s.

deefan November 6, 2009 at 9:52 am

did anyone watch the pack viking game and can comment on the out of bounds body slam in front of the ref ???? vikings must win to get a new stadium fans will not stand for any loss , what so ever they allow players on team who have tested possitive for illigal substance while New orleans player suspended for exactly same deed

Ed November 8, 2009 at 7:51 am

Your NCAA college refs in the Ga Tech game vs Wake Forrest yesterday should be fired. They almost cost Tech the game calling repeated bad calls on chop blocks and other bad calls. Take a look at the films refs of that gane and then submit your resignation.

Ed

Ed November 8, 2009 at 8:00 am

The refs are paid for calling a gane and they blow it multiple times and then the yo yos try and stop a coach (U Meyer) from commenting on a refs bad calls. Thats totally crap. You are whimps !! Lets get some ametuer refs to replace you guys that can make decent calls for less money and take legitimate criticism. You can’t take it. Look at the complaints on this site… legitimite ones about your ineptitude.

If you haven’t seen the Texans at the Colts, watch it! It shows the refs in total disregard for the rules, the safety of the players, and total preferential treatment for “Mr. Manning”.

“I just know a lot of guys were getting warned on one side and there were penalties on the other,” Texans right tackle Eric Winston said. “You can’t be in the neutral zone first of all. I just keep hearing, ‘98 [Robert Mathis] scoot back, 98 scoot back.’ I guess if you’re doing the penalties you’re going to get called.”

http://espn.go.com/blog/afcsouth/post/_/id/5406/attention-texans-neutral-zone-off-limits

There was a play where the Texans had stopped the Colts on a 3rd and three but after the whistle blew, a flag is thrown and Connor Barwin is called for offsides. WTH? After the play?? First down Colts.

The Texans are about to score and Bethea tackles Moats at the 2 and rolls him out of bounds. The ball comes out as Moats is on top of Bethea (who again is clearly out). Moats is not considered out until he touches the ground out of bounds. The ball rolls off Bethea’s arm (still sitting out of bounds) and back into play.

An Indy player picks the ball up at the goal line and steps out at the one.

The ref actually made the correct call with the ball out at the 2 yard line but after review, the refs seemed to see conclusive evidence(?) to not only reverse the call, making the ball live but also giving Peyton Manning 19 extra yards by calling a touchback (if the ball was live and advanced to the one, it was not a touchback).

Check the picture here….http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y224/Tedc/Blowncalloutofbounds.jpg

I have never been a “conspiracy theorist” but the refs really worked had for the extra check this week.

NFL should be embaressed by the officiating in the FIN BUCS GAME. Horrible Get it right BOYS

Kevin November 15, 2009 at 3:15 pm

I’ve watched at least 10 games this year that the refs won for there prefered team.

Bailey Pecor November 15, 2009 at 4:29 pm

the referees at the bucs game today were atrocious. they gave the game to the dolphins on the bullshit play before half time. I want the refs of that game to get fined or demoted, if not fired for that game today

Tom November 15, 2009 at 6:26 pm

How does a personal foul penalty that is assessed after the play which resulted in 1 and goal go to 4th and 1 at the 10? (i.e. Seattle vs. Arizona)

mickey November 15, 2009 at 6:33 pm

buc fan, Kevin, Tom and Bailey — Please post your thoughts on the thread for today’s games:
