If ever I saw a game fixed by refs, and clumsily at that, it was the colts/chargers game. Pure fix. Disgusting.
I’ve preferred the NFL over NCAA because you never saw this in the NFL. Until now.

There ought to be a law.

I have seen Winter work only 2 playoff games, and he has messed them both up. He was also the Referee for the Giants-49ers wild card game back in 2002 when they callled the Giants for having an illegal man downfield when it should have been Pass Interference.
Worst Ref in the NFL, hands down.

Billy, I am not sure who is right, but I heard Steratore in Carolina, not Carollo.

I’m not sure who your sources are, but Terry McCauley is BAL @ TEN.

Irwin — Sorry about that, I thought I had already changed it. It’s fixed now.

Does any referee get 2 games in the playoffs? It doesnt seem that way. Mcaulay in Ten, and Steratore in carolina. But Boger, does he take mcaulays spot next week?

2 playoff games is possible – Mike Carey officiated last year’s Packers-Seahawks divisional round, and then the Super Bowl.

Also, likely chance that Bill Carollo will still get another game, don’t imagine the NFL shutting him out of the playoffs in his final season.

Of the remaining 3 games, I’d imagine 4 officials to work these games include:
a) Carollo
b) Boger
c) Walt Anderson
d) Jeff Triplette

What does it mean when a Referee has both hands in front of his chest & is moving his hands up & down like brushing off crumbs off his chest?

I do believe that refs on all levels are the most dishonest people in the world. As a coach and a fan they are all bad. The superbowl was a classic example of refs controling the game. If Roger Goodell protects them that is saying what kinda person he is. Just to be clear I am not a Cards fan.

I thought the game was called fantastically. Terry McAuley and company did a great job. They fixed the plays where the call on the field was “questionable.” What more could you want from a referee?

Anybody know who Scott Green is picking in the ProBowl? I want to put my money on the same team Scott has.

Tex: it means the ref is brushing grass of his shirt from getting knocked down.

I watched the entire game between the Packers and the Cardinals. If the refs called the actual amount of times that the Cardinals were cheating or got away with calls the should have been reversed the Packers would have one that game in the second half. I am now a firm believer that these playoff games are fixed. I doubt that I will watch the rest of the playoffs for that reason. It’s time to get some honest refs involved in the game.
