Al Riveron
Beginning with the 2008 NFL season, Riveron was promoted to referee (crew chief) following the retirements of Gerald Austinand Larry Nemmers; before that, he was a side judge from 2004 (his first year of NFL officiating) to 2007. Riveron is the first referee of Hispanic origin in NFL history.
