THU, DEC 22
Houston at Indianapolis – Jerome Boger
SAT, DEC 24
Denver at Buffalo – Walt Anderson
Arizona at Cincinnati – Terry McAulay
Jacksonville at Tennessee – Gene Steratore
Oakland at Kansas City – Mike Carey
Miami at New England – Al Riveron
NY Giants at NY Jets – Pete Morelli
St. Louis at Pittsburgh – Clete Blakeman
Minnesota at Washington – Tony Corrente
Tampa Bay at Carolina – Carl Cheffers
Cleveland at Baltimore – Walt Coleman
San Diego at Detroit – Ed Hochuli
San Francisco at Seattle – Ron Winter
Philadelphia at Dallas – Bill Leavy
SUN, DEC 25
Chicago at Green Bay – John Parry
MON, DEC 26
Atlanta at New Orleans – Jeff Triplette
Off: Scott Green
Bob Fox says
I’m going to guess Steratore in Pittsburgh since it’s Christmas and he hasn’t done a Steelers game at all this year.
Russ says
I have a feeling Triplette is going to work the Atlanta-New Orleans MNF game. Him and Parry are the only two refs who have not done a Monday Night Game and Parry is ineligible for this game.
Michael says
I am guessing Boger in Indy and Parry in Green Bay since they have the fewest “primetime” games
Shane Spencer says
Jerome Boger is eligible for ATL @ NO.
Russ says
I have the same exact guesse Michael
Joe Platania says
Thanks to Preth’s explanation on the Week 15 page, my guesses for CLE-BAL are Coleman, Triplette, Steratore and Carey, although the point made about Steratore not doing PIT all year is valid…
Steve says
Yeah and Steratore lives in Pittsburgh so I bet he does that game.
Joe Platania says
Well, what do you know? My ref source within the Ravens has told me it’s COLEMAN for CLE-BAL. First on the board this week!
david says
Joe, Great job !!! Now just find out who the referee will be for the AFC Championship game in Baltimore next month !!!
Preth says
Jumping the gun a little bit? 😛
david says
Hey, I didn’t pay my $599.00 for nothing this season !!! lol
david says
Joe, 2nd time for the Milkman doing a Ravens game !!! Worked the week #9 game against Pittsburgh !!! Preth that makes it the 4th crew to work the Ravens 2 times this season. {reg. season}
Rodney says
Any idea who will be doing the eagles @ biys game?
Preth says
Not until the middle of the week.
Kenneth says
One of Anderson, Corrente, Cheffers, Triplette, Leavy or Steratore.
Each of these crews, except Triplette have had two or three PT games …neither Leavy or Corrente has had had SNF, while Cheffers and Steratore had it twice. While flex scheduling does mess up PT assignments I’d venture a guess at Triplette who only has one PT game, and has not had it since wk 5….also, Triplette has only had Eagles once, and not yet had Dallas
Kenneth says
and you can ignore all that primetime info because I forgot next week is Christmas, and all the games are Saturday except for Chi-GB. But those 6 crews are eligible.
Kenneth says
Also, I’ll venture that Parry takes the Christmas Day game next week. He’s only had one primetime game as well, lives close-ish to Wisconsin and has had neither GB or Chicago all season
SportingBecky says
Guess for WK #16 2011 – Ed Hochuli
Dolphins VS Patriots
Jaguars VS Titans
Falcons VS Saints
SportingBecky says
WK #16
Buffalo – Anderson
Pittsburgh – Blakeman
Indianapolis – Boger
Detroit – Hochuli
Cincinnati – McAulay
Tennessee – G. Steratore
Brian says
I’ll take “NFL Referees Named Clete” for $200.
This man will be the head official for the St. Louis Rams at the Pittsburgh Steelers game played at 1 p.m. Dec. 24.
Brian…
Who is Clete Blakeman?
Correct.
Preth says
Thanks for the confirmation!
SportingBecky says
R-85 in Detroit WK #16
Bronson says
ok couple guesses Based on Minimal Primetime exposure John parry will indeed be in Greenbay and Jeff Tripplette in New Oreleans guesses only from me
jc says
From BTFS
Buffalo – Anderson
Pittsburgh – Blakeman
Indianapolis – Boger
Detroit – Hochuli
Cincinnati – McAulay
Tennessee – G. Steratore
Nita says
Yep, your right on, Hochulis in Detroit on the 24th and the
following week he is in New Orleans on the 1st.
Pat says
David first you have to win out and hope Pittsburgh looese and then it won’t be in Baltimore even if they do it will be in Foxboro home of the Patriots
david says
Yes in Foxboro, They have done so well there in the postseasson the last two years !!!
Kenneth says
Scott Green must have the bye week since Blakeman and McAulay are working
Kenneth says
and Riveron must be in New England
Kenneth says
and Morelli must be in the Meadowlands for Giants-Jets, as he is the only eligible ref for it
Kenneth says
and thus, finally, these are my guesses for what is not known, nor is a given with process of elimination:
OAK-KC — Carl Cheffers
MIN-WASH — Tony Corrente w/ Scott Green (if Parry and Leavy play out, this is the only possibility)
TB-CAR — Mike Carey
SF-SEA — Ron Winter
PHL-DAL — Bill Leavy (if Parry is in GB, he has to be in DAL)
CHI-GB — John Parry (would be $$$$)
ATL-NO —Jeff Triplette (would bet $$)
Kenneth says
sorry for all these posts,
since Morelli is the only eligible ref for NYG-NYJ, it means Triplette must have MNF ATL-NO
Ryan says
Al Riveron is in New England. Confirmed from Patriots PR and Media Notes.
Camps in Chicago says
Zach Zaidman, sideline reporter for Chicago Bears, just announced via Twitter that Parry is indeed in for CHI @ GB on Christmas night.
Kenneth says
Awesome, so we can guarantee that Leavy is doing PHL-DAL and Corrente (w/ Green) has MINN-WASH
that means that these are the remainders:
Carey – OAK-KC, TB-CAR or SF-SEA
Cheffers – OAK-KC or TB-CAR
Winter – TB-CAR or SF-SEA
Preth says
Yep. And with Joe83’s Cheffers assignment, we could possibly complete the list in a record amount of time.
Joe Platania says
That was me, not Joe83. We’re not the same guy, but we’ve never been seen in the same room at the same time! 🙂
Preth says
I’m confused. You’ve been providing the Cheffers assignments, even though you’re not Joe83?
JOE83 says
Hi Preth: I´m not Joe Platania but confirm the assignment of Carl´Cheffers’ Crew in Bank of America Stadium (Tampa Bay @ Carolina, Sunday 01:00 P.M. ET)
Preth says
Works for me. Thanks for the confirmation, Joe. 🙂
Gerry says
Parry’s first game ever in Green Bay. He still has yet to work in Chicago and Denver
daveydy says
Preth or anyone, Does anybody REALLY know how Tony Corrente is really doing? He was supposed to ref Seattle-Chicago but Hochuli ended up subbing for him.
Preth says
I’ve got the distinct impression that he’s hanging in there – well enough that he had a legitimate shot to work last week’s game. Otherwise Hochuli would have been scheduled to work that game from the very beginning.
Unfortunate that it didn’t work out, but maybe he’ll be able to recover during the offseason and be in good health for the start of next season.
Gerry says
Neither Boger nor Carey has done a west coast game yet this year. Furthest Carey has been is Denver and Boger Arizona
jc says
Boger was in Den the first week this season…
SportingBecky says
Niceeeeeeeeeeee….. I my other Photog friend from Facebook and Twitter who took photos of Ed Hochuli during the AFC Championship game 2011 Jets VS Steelers……….
>>>>> Will be at the Chargers VS Lions game WK #16 2011… YES!
I received some nice ones this past week and they are posted on NFL85.com site!!!
Bronson says
I was actually right and im thinking well see Carey in Kansas City and Cheffers In Carolina hope im right 2 times this week 😀
Gerry says
Hope to see Cheffers in Carolina because he has yet to work a regular season game there according to my stats
Ryan says
Mike Carey in Kansas City. Confirmed by Chiefs PR.
Preth says
Joe, Gerry, and Ryan – the spam filter is a bit wonky right now, sorry that your posts didn’t go instantly.
Gerry says
thnx Preth I had a feeling there was a problem
Ryan says
Just FYI….according to my sources at Ashburn Park for the Skins Tony Corrente is a game time decision. There was mention from Carl Johnson that a replacement might be named at the last minute to fill in for Corrente. That replacement was not named at this time but one would conclude with Green living in the VA/DC area with his job that he would be more than likely to be that fill-in as most have already stated.
Kenneth says
I agree. We’d know by Firday at latest since Corrente lives in Cali, he obviously wouldn’t fly out. If for some reason Green can’t go, Boger lives in ATL and I think Triplette is on the east coast somewhere. Parry is in Ohio
Bronson says
Triplette is in Charolette
Kenneth says
He used to live in Charlotte because he was an executive for Duke Energy, but I think I read somewhere he left taht job and just lives on the east coast now
Michael says
I believe I read somewhere he is now living in Alabama
Kenneth says
I just looked it up a fe whours ago, and for some reason it didn’t post when i commented. He is in Oxford, Mississippi, where FNC, Inc. is headquartered
david says
Did anyone notice the Vegas line went down 4.5 points last week in the Chiefs – Packers game ???
James says
Would like to give Cheffers some kudos for calling maybe the best game of the year. Quick and clean.
James says
Last Sunday Night’s game, to be specific.
Gerry says
Just came up with this strange stat lol , Scott Green who is off this week has not worked a game in the “south” , the three cities in Florida and Atlanta since 2008
nita says
Hey Tom, you had an excellent answer to one of the questions for you the other day. I’d give it a 50 on a scale of 1-10.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!
bronson says
tony is working his game glad to see him back and able to give it the go hes a pro! Merry christmas to all
Ryan says
I meant to send a message yesterday but got wrapped up in work stuff. Saw Tony yesterday. Looks a little skinnier and missing his hair however was in good spirits and glad to be back.
Preth says
Great to hear!
Ryan18 says
Good to see Corrente back in action in Washington this week
