I’m going to guess Steratore in Pittsburgh since it’s Christmas and he hasn’t done a Steelers game at all this year.

I have a feeling Triplette is going to work the Atlanta-New Orleans MNF game. Him and Parry are the only two refs who have not done a Monday Night Game and Parry is ineligible for this game.

Thanks to Preth’s explanation on the Week 15 page, my guesses for CLE-BAL are Coleman, Triplette, Steratore and Carey, although the point made about Steratore not doing PIT all year is valid…

One of Anderson, Corrente, Cheffers, Triplette, Leavy or Steratore.

Each of these crews, except Triplette have had two or three PT games …neither Leavy or Corrente has had had SNF, while Cheffers and Steratore had it twice. While flex scheduling does mess up PT assignments I’d venture a guess at Triplette who only has one PT game, and has not had it since wk 5….also, Triplette has only had Eagles once, and not yet had Dallas

and you can ignore all that primetime info because I forgot next week is Christmas, and all the games are Saturday except for Chi-GB. But those 6 crews are eligible.

Also, I’ll venture that Parry takes the Christmas Day game next week. He’s only had one primetime game as well, lives close-ish to Wisconsin and has had neither GB or Chicago all season

This man will be the head official for the St. Louis Rams at the Pittsburgh Steelers game played at 1 p.m. Dec. 24.

and thus, finally, these are my guesses for what is not known, nor is a given with process of elimination:

      OAK-KC — Carl Cheffers
MIN-WASH — Tony Corrente w/ Scott Green (if Parry and Leavy play out, this is the only possibility)
      TB-CAR — Mike Carey
      SF-SEA — Ron Winter
PHL-DAL — Bill Leavy (if Parry is in GB, he has to be in DAL)
      CHI-GB — John Parry (would be $$$$)
ATL-NO —Jeff Triplette (would bet $$)

Awesome, so we can guarantee that Leavy is doing PHL-DAL and Corrente (w/ Green) has MINN-WASH

that means that these are the remainders:

      Carey – OAK-KC, TB-CAR or SF-SEA
      Cheffers – OAK-KC or TB-CAR
      Winter – TB-CAR or SF-SEA

I’ve got the distinct impression that he’s hanging in there – well enough that he had a legitimate shot to work last week’s game. Otherwise Hochuli would have been scheduled to work that game from the very beginning.

Unfortunate that it didn’t work out, but maybe he’ll be able to recover during the offseason and be in good health for the start of next season.

Just FYI….according to my sources at Ashburn Park for the Skins Tony Corrente is a game time decision. There was mention from Carl Johnson that a replacement might be named at the last minute to fill in for Corrente. That replacement was not named at this time but one would conclude with Green living in the VA/DC area with his job that he would be more than likely to be that fill-in as most have already stated.

I agree. We’d know by Firday at latest since Corrente lives in Cali, he obviously wouldn’t fly out. If for some reason Green can’t go, Boger lives in ATL and I think Triplette is on the east coast somewhere. Parry is in Ohio
